Mara and Marianne have developed a transformational course using Reiki as the basis of the teachings! Our program centers on the learning of Reiki, developing one's healership, intuition and self-development. The focus of our classes are on changing ourselves, changing our lives and preparing ourselves to live in a paradigm shift. It is about living in a different way and bringing ourselves into better harmony and balance with the whole of existence. It is about a way of Being for everyday life – for you as an individual and as part of the whole collective. Reiki is our medium for providing the groundwork for this healing and this inner shift and opening.
We have also innovated a different format to the traditional Reiki weekend class. Each person is taught at his or her level, yet all individuals are taught together. Utilizing everyone’s experience, the more proficient students can assist by sharing their knowledge with those who are just learning. Regardless of our degree of mastery, we recognize that even the most advance practitioner can learn from a beginner.
We have structured our Levels as follows to incorporate all that we want to teach and share with our students:
Level 1 Reiki
Here we examine the basics of Reiki and self-healing. We also begin to explore one's intuition and some of the basic principals around healing others.
Level 2 Reiki
In this level, we deepen our understanding and skill of Reiki and introduce the use of Reiki symbols and distance healing. We also start to delve into self-process to deepen our understanding of Self and to strength our healership. Intuition is also worked to a greater level. For level two, we have incorporated post-workshop integrative work, reading and meet ups with Mara and Marianne to foster each student's growth and development at a more personal level.
Level 3 Reiki
For this level we have created two separate components. The first component focuses on mastery and the second component focuses on teaching Reiki. Mastery is not something we take lightly and delineates having taken the time to develop a skill. As for teaching, not everyone who does level three Reiki has the skills to teach or wants to become a teacher.
Level 3A Master
This level will include gaining mastery of Reiki as a healing tool and a tool of change. It incorporates mastery of the symbols and long distance healing, gaining mastery of the self, and deepening one’s intuition. This level will also include the workshop and a six-month practice period with monthly meetings with Mara and Marianne to complete the level and receive certification. In this program, Level 3A does not certify you to teach Reiki.
Level 3B Teacher
The primary focus of Teacher training is in the development of teaching methods and Reiki attunement skills. Mastery development is still a strong component of the Teacher level. This teacher training course includes a hands-on teaching practicum that will take place over the period of 1 year and will include student teaching with Mara and Marianne as well as meet ups and organizing your own Reiki workshop. You must be accepted into this level of the program. Certificates are issued at the completion of all components.
